^Ugh. McSpaced would have been awful. So glad that the studio bosses actually saw the writing on the wall this time; that very rarely happens. Am also glad that they finally released this excellent comedy on this side of the pond. I pre-ordered my copy the second it was made available. It's still sitting on my stand however; I need to get around to watching it with the new commentaries, etc.

Recidivism. Not a pretty word. We need some kind of sift rehabilitation program to help reintroduce banned members back into the community free from the desire to discard others' things. Rather than studying grammar or spelling, Choggie is probably hanging with other banned sifters as we speak, learning how to be a better sift criminal.

I feel people take him too seriously. If you take what he says with a grain of salt and a bit of humor he's pretty entertaining ( and if you pay attention, you'll realize his comments are pretty whacked out but he does have some sort of alien intelligence in there lol ). We should take away his *discard ability or something. Then maybe he wouldn't cause such a fuss so much.

Obama wants to decrease our dependence on foreign oil. Yet he doesn't want America to drill for more oil. (yes I get the whole clean energy thing but oil is used as more then just an energy source.) That is a contradiction.

Obama says he'll withdraw troops from Iraq. But he'll keep them there if terrorist organizations are still there. Well the War attracted those like flies to honey. That is a contradiction.

He says he wants to reduce welfare. Yet he supports it and was opposed to welfare reforms brought to the senate to reduce it. That is a contradiction.

He says he won't take public funds. Then he does. That is a contradiction.

He takes credit for passing a health care bill he never voted on.

He can't decide how his past should go together.

If you support him, that's fine. I think we're just as screwed no matter who gets the job. But don't tell me he doesn't deal in contradictions. Because he is a politician and therefore must lie. He just does it more eloquently then most.

CG artists work frame by frame, I find it often in all CG laden movies they tend to over do it because they work in millions of frames instead of a smooth shot sequence that runs longer over all.

Leading to very sudden and over animated animation. This is disconcerting to the viewer when watching, because the director is supposed to lead you through sequences not make a spectacle from one shot to the next. Subtlety is key for CG effects. Something seen in the very best of CG films.
