?? please explain. is he usually a cheerleader for GOP policy ?
More often than not, yes.
Have you heard of the time period known as "The Friedman"? That's a six month span of time where no progress is made in Iraq, yet the solution is to give it all just another six months to see what happens.
Turbo North was contacted in April. The plane sold in August with no contact from Turbo North. Go read the link.

Turbo North Aviation sold it for 21 million, Palin promised the broker a 1.49 percent cut of the selling price. = $31,290

The copy pasta said it sold quickly and for $30,000 to the broker, which never happened.

um, which facts ?

Um, your facts are wrong. I'd recommend reading this:

Better sourcing for the myth of the eBay sale. Also it never "sold quickly".

I never viewed it as "winning". I've happily discard many posts that have been pointed out to be dupes. I have no problem with discarding the obvious ones, but this one was a fence sitter and thus the differences of opinion.
In reply to this comment by qruel:
the grace to discard it ?
hmmm....
I didn't discard it because I don't agree with you for reasons I've already outlined, that doesn't mean I don't have grace.
my sift had a different camera framing allowing for more information to be conveyed. (the blades and turbine flying off and hitting the ground)
it wasn't as if it was an extra few seconds of a tv show that had the same footage.

Personally, I think the two windmill posts were dupes. I was hoping the submitter would have had the grace to discard it, but he didn't. I tend to be nervous about hitting * discard unless it is exactly the same. Close to home, someone submitted this: http://www.videosift.com/video/Missile-Command-on-Multi-touch-Wall
which isn't identical code to this: http://www.videosift.com/video/Giant-Missle-Command-using-Multitouch
but it is the same event, with worse filming and no added value. It was different enough that I didn't feel right hitting discard, but honestly, it is the spirit of a dupe. I thought about a * discuss, but it seems so trivial in terms of discussion. I just hope it goes.
I think we should be liberal in our definition of dupes, because I think dupes dilute the sift more than the recently mentioned chunks of flour.

Kirby has also been known to flunk his data before http://citizencain.blogspot.com/2005/07/kirby-flubs-autism-data.html
A few studies have seemingly shown links between ASD and vaccination like JAPS but they also published this on homosexuals and they obviously have several agenda’s. http://www.jpands.org/vol10no3/lehrman.pdf
Even if studies repeatedly showed links, correlation does not mean causation.
What has been proven (at least in the UK) is that in the years after Andrew Wakefield made similar claims about the MMR vaccine, cases of mumps and measels rose.
As for Hanna Poling anecdotal evidence cannot be used in science.
Until evidence not only shows not only that ASD increases are due to environmental factors but are good statistical analysis shows a significance between ASD and vaccines I will view such reports as nothing more than fear mongering scaring well meaning parents into not having the vaccines. Fortunately MMR vaccination rate is almost and pre-scare levels.

have you not heard of Hanna Poling ? You know the girl who the government declared to have gotten her autism from the 9(?) vaccines she got in one day
