Bio:
I'm a Canadian Inuk currently living in Denmark. My childhood years were spent on the tundra and frozen sea ice and in different villages and cities in Canada's high arctic before moving to Vancouver Island for high school.
I like to spend my time drifting/traveling to remote and wild places around the world, learning about Indigenous peoples, history, natural and social sciences, and pretty much anything that allows me to understand a little more about what it means to live among this strange species of talking ape which has dominated this spinning blue space marble.
To fund my wanderings and to keep myself busy, I have had a pretty odd assortment of jobs ranging from deckhand to medical equipment repairman to historic places registrar to environmental educator. Now I find myself in Copenhagen working with Arctic Indigenous peoples and seriously considering law school for next fall.

Jesse, I plan on trying to rent Reykjavik 101, I love the idea of an Icelandic slacker film. Tell me, have you ever seen Nói albínói?
No, I haven't seen that movie, but it does look good. I'll have to look out for it. I loved Reykjavik 101. Scandi films have a unique feel to them, I find. Reykjavik 101 is a good example that not all Scandinavian films have to be dark and brooding. I'd also suggest I am Curious (yellow and blue) from Sweden.
